It's my turn to choose the POTW again.  There were plenty of great images to choose from this week but my choice is this one from Fuji:

This is just one in a series of great images taken with a DIY setup converting old projector lenses into macro lenses.  The whole thread is well worth a look if you haven't seen it already - click HERE.

Well done, Fuji!

Well done Fooj 👏... such an innovative way  to solve a problem  and utilise  unlikely  pieces of  equipment  in an inventive way ...  it fosters and nurtures the creative  urges   that often  bring us to the photography table in the first place ... AND  Fooj serves  up a veritable feast of photos  with his quirky  creations .. good choice Hatter !

WOW! That is a fantastic surprise , Thank You Rye.

Using those DIY lenses gives me  great pleasure ,  I must admit that the results surprised me greatly too. The DOF is extremely shallow because both are used wide open, this gives the misty, dream-like atmosphere of most of them. I have created a slideshow of about  80 of them , set to choral music , they combine to produce a very pleasant photographic experience.
