POTW week ending 17th April 2022

This week I was torn between two images when trying to decide on POTW ...so a highly commended  shout out to James for his Mono  of Letcomb Brook  ( Again ) I really liked this image   for the fantastic tonal  range incorporated in it and the depth and perspective  rendered by the composition . Nice work James …

The winning  image for POTW   is Fogey's Glossy Ibis    better known as "Can you identify ?" 😊 I love the simplicity of the shot  , the depth of field that  highlights  the Ibis and  the path it is taking and  the grass  just feels so lush and soft  with the taller variety in the background  helping  to create a subtle bokeh that enhances the whole composition  and the  hint of green on the wing feathers  just adds to  whole effect ... A really fabulous  photo Fogey .... Congratulations !
