Whitby

In my present rushed life I finally managed to get away to Whitby for a few days.  Weather as expected wasn't too apart from one day.

Lovely place for a break though, very friendly people.  Went to Staithes and Robins Hood Bay whilst we were there too

It has been a long time since I visited Whiby ... Loved seeing that  fantastic gothic Abbey  ruins ... Bram Stoker's inspired Dracula  story  has led some to ask if Dracula is buried in Whitby... erm.... he was a fictional Vampire ... WHAT PLANET ARE THESE PEOPLE ON ... A lovely  set capturing  the essence of the place really well . Hard to choose a favourite .... They all stand out !

Yes we bought some Whitby Gin and the shop owner was telling me about how many people ask where Draculas grave is.  They find it unbelievable
