A great memory though, yes we went to Winchcombe as well. Two trains came in at the same time but unfortunately both were facing backwards so it wasnt quite as effective

The challenges of shooting into the sun
Stravinsky replied to Stravinsky's topic in Landscape and Scenic
It was after a trip to Purton Ships Graveyard and we wandered further down to the docks but of course by that time the view was into the sun. The way I often deal with it when filterless is using exposure compensation -
Well caught, nice shot
-
Couple of great shots there, well done .... Ive never been good at catching birds in flight myself
-
Its difficult to catch the front of Southwell without getting converging lines but looks like you were far enough away to avoid that - Nice shot

Nice one, Ive been to the minster, but not inside. I guess you may be using a Canon? Ive taken a shot at 25600 in complete darkness of Mevagissey quay and although the background detail was a bit messy, the main boat subject was fine. Normally in darker indoor places I'll go up to 6400 and that usually does it and I dont get noise around that level
