Not long joined up, although I had the website saved for a while, I currently live in Solihull, famous for the Land Rover.

I've been a professional photographer since 1985, I'm due to retire in 2023, but I can't see me putting the cameras away, as I still enjoy taking photographs, my main subjects are landscape/seascapes and travel, Getty images and travel magazines are still interested in my work, so I'll carry on while there's still a market for my work.

I'm looking forward to getting back to travelling once things get a little easier, way too many hoops to jump through at the moment to even think of travelling overseas, but I have a few trips booked for next year.

Good to see you making yourself known to us Geebee.... Nice to have another member in the Midlands  too . Looking forward to having the benefit of an expert professional  on our books too ...  Heading down the lane marked "Retirement" can be a daunting prospect but it's great if one's work has involved something that many of us love as a hobby too.. so a very warm welcome to you and your camera. As  other members have iterated ... we may not be the biggest Photography Forum  but we have a reputation for  being probably the friendliest .... Biggest isn't always best  !  😉

Welcome to the site, I'm not too far away from you and am regularly involved in organising photo meets in Birmingham.  Definitely not a professional but have had a book documenting Birmingham in images published.
