Weekly Challenge 189 - OPEN THEME - Voting Closed

Thought I'd go for an open theme for this weeks challenge. Two reasons.......

1 - I'm a bit rubbish at coming up with themes and I've spent all morning trying to think o' summat and failed miserably.

2 - I thought a free-for-all might encourage more people to join in by having a week when you can post owt ya got. Go for it and show us yer finest!

All entries to be posted by midnight GMT on Friday 22nd February  and then we'll have a vote to pick a winner.

Images can be shot for the contest or be from your archives. Entirely up to you!

Turnstones on the Victoria Slipway (I think) in Guernsey

From 1997. The camera is still in regular use (but not the el-cheapo Centon 28-200 super zoom lens, though I still have it somewhere).

It was the possibility of photographing birds that led me to buy the SLR the previous year when I arrived in Guernsey and found that my camera was still in Birmingham!
