  1. The moors look so bleak when you drive along the M62, but beautiful when you are actually in them it seems.
  2. We have had some very colourful sunsets recently, took a few more tonight of another
  3. Taken from five miles away on my 500mm lens, the new Wrights Flour mill to the left and the former Glaxo research labs that are in the process of becoming the new home for Public Health England bask in the evening sun.
  4. Have not seen a Hedgehog for a long while locally
  5. A really good set of images from this now famous little town David, I used to struggle in one or two places trying to get the truck through especially when trying to deliver to a local farm during the festival days! Nicely processed too
  6. A great set Geoff. It is a strange design, but oddly pleasing, I wonder why this was demolished?
  7. Like both of these Fogey !
  8. Went out for a walk with a mate looking for Barn Owls this evening, no joy but I did take a photo..the first for many weeks!
  9. Both equally good to my eyes Leon, I'm sure there is a market amongst the participants for images of them 'doing their thing'
  10. So quintessentially English Polly, and processed with your usual thoughtful style, beautiful wall hanger that..
  11. See this through Dee and come out the other side smiling, best thoughts and wishes to you
  12. You have a great knack of producing photographs that would look good on any wall John, your foreground interest of the boat and the estruary leading you to the background hills melting into the distance..great composition!
  13. A fine set of images of a fine looking ruin David
  14. Denis

    Lakeside Ferry

Thats a great looking craft !
  15. .. the only way Governments know how..Tax on electric cars and chargers!
  16. I didnt know that! , thats the last time I will pay at the pump!
  17. The great rush to get us all electric in the near future, a move that will hit the poorer community who may only afford and older car for essential travel. We discussed getting an electric car but there is nowhere, absolutely nowhere for us to run a charger cable to the only place we can park our cars, or we either move house or stick to fossil fuels for as long as we can!
  18. That first one is very evocative to which your caption eludes to a certain darkness.
  19. Can't say I have seen one of these colourful chaps over this side of the country John, I'm sure I would have spotted one as they look so distinctive!
