Sad to hear that Charlie Watts has left us, he had been the Rolling Stones drummer since 1963, seen the Stones so many times in concert. Love the indignant look on the Deer

We have had some spectacular colours recently, deep orange and red skies. Been out a few evenings hoping to catch sight of Barn owls without success. But its a pleasant place to stand and admire the scenery for an hour or two, and this is helping me to get back to taking photos even if they are a tad on the mundane side! Last evening..after no sign of Owls for the past hour the Tokina 11-16mm came out of the bag. Back to the 200-500mm for this.. And back to the Tokina.. A deepening hue in the sky.. And we waited for the sun to drop into the orange patch under the cloud on the horizon.. and the beautiful afterglow...
