  1. Sad to hear that Charlie Watts has left us, he had been the Rolling Stones drummer since 1963, seen the Stones so many times in concert. The first time was at the Hyde Park concert in 1969 as a 15 year old having been a Stones fan since about 1964. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-58316842 RIP Charlie.
  2. define electric Paul... as in overdone? I did these in Topaz but may have gone a tad over on the sliders..
  3. Was this a freight loco Geoff, looks a bit ...brutal for a passenger loco..

  15. Very well done despite a little noise, You need a good wide angle lens David, cannot recommend a Tokina f2.8 11-16 enough
  16. Sitting here watching this with my 6 year old Grandson, he too thought it was really good and the first time he has seen a Steam train, next time it will be in real life I says ... Great stuff Geoff

  20. We have had some spectacular colours recently, deep orange and red skies. Been out a few evenings hoping to catch sight of Barn owls without success. But its a pleasant place to stand and admire the scenery for an hour or two, and this is helping me to get back to taking photos even if they are a tad on the mundane side! Last evening..after no sign of Owls for the past hour the Tokina 11-16mm came out of the bag. Back to the 200-500mm for this.. And back to the Tokina.. A deepening hue in the sky.. And we waited for the sun to drop into the orange patch under the cloud on the horizon.. and the beautiful afterglow...
