Cheers Clicker,

Have you ever tried to lurk in a bright blue mobility scooter ? 🤓

I can take far  less candid shots now…. Also, I have a, child’s  eye view of the world….quite a drastic shift.

FUJI.

Great to see you posting, Fuji. The change in perspective being lower is interesting. I used a Hasselblad with top down viewfinder to do a series of environmental portraits sometimes at ground level. The learning from that lower view and square format have influenced my photography since.

Nice, I've still not got around to taking people in street shots .... always nervous of reactions

It does get easier the more you do it. I’ve taken a few with people in now, and I even asked someone if she minded being in a photo once (that was very nerve wracking!).

Kerry , those are fantastic Street shots, although taking your photographer pal is cheating a bit.

My method is to simply point , from hip or viewfinder, hoping that I’ve captured a candid…. If your spotted some folks strike silly poses, sho off, or look daggers…. If this is so simply smile then walk away.

Currently , you may have seen that I have been struck down with a pretty serious diagnosis, my daily routine has changed beyond recognition.

Thanks Fuji. Yes, I know it's cheating but I do like that shot (and in my defence, I don't know the girls in the window) ;)

I did see about your diagnosis, yes. Very sorry about that; I hope you get your kidney diet sorted and that you can keep getting out and about.

Welcome to my world, Fooj.  The one good thing is, I rarely get aching feet now - a numb bum on occasions, but that can be sorted with some memory foam.
