A stunning shot - and it's nice it was taken in its natural environment.  As has been mentioned, there are some instances where these can be seen in this country, but all the places I have looked up are closed due to this damned pandemic we're having.

Denis... Getting this shot was the furthest I've ever travelled to take a butterfly shot, of course I didn't really go to just take this one image. The whole journey starting at Heathrow was three flights over a 20 hour period, lord knows how many miles by road, 130 miles down the Rio Napo by boat to Sani Lodge where I stayed for a week and a lot of trekking in the forest.... I was 65 at the time and I'm glad I never left any later in my life to do it.

Looked at the link, interesting looking place, My son travelled through Peru last year hiking and climbed Machu Picchu .  He done it for me he said as I could never climb those altitudes due to me poor old heart :)
