We'll have a daily winner chosen by an expert panel of competent, knowledgeable, highly paid and really clever photografists who will NOT accept bribes. And then....... we'll have an overall winner chosen by vote when the seven days are up and the daily winners are in.

Here's one I made earlier - about twelve months earlier to be honest. I photographed the peacock on a National Trust visit and after I'd played around with it for a while I came up with the notion of giving the image an oriental feel. Sort of.

Using textures, brushes, masks and a few dozen expletives,  I eventually came up with this.

Intrepid 5x4, Schneider Symmar 150mm, Ilford FP4+ (accidentally shot at 400 -- I thought the DDS had Fomapan 400 in it).

(I'll probably have to duplicate cameras from here on in, but hopefully manage 7 different camera/film combinations).

Well it's a minute past midnight and so I've got to make a final decision.  Difficult because they are all well crafted images and so finding a reason to lift one above the rest is a problem.  In the the end the Kudos goes to Kobione purely because Dee has seen and image where many would walk on by.  Well seen dee.

Drat ... I actually fell asleep in front of the computer whilst editing my pic for today ...grrr   Arrived back home today after what was a very relaxing week away ...

Thank you John, it is in a n ice spot we visit quite often, but not known to many people, which is a shame being as it, and two other stumps, were decorated by a local artist.
