IMPRESSION FROM A DIRTY BUS WINDOW II

Thank you both.....it is the Costa Drive Thru......you can see the sign and their typical red and coffee colour scheme.

Taken from a moving bus too.....goodness knows what other passengers think when I do this.

I imagine  that carrying a camera everywhere and  snapping away sometimes just  to get people used to seeing you about, is a great way  to engage with  Joe Public in anticipation of  doing your street photography . I  do it on occasions when I get the urge to photograph people . I suspect you win most people over with your enthusiasm Fooj  .. and what's not to smile about on a wet dull day when  you've got a chatty bloke on a bus with a camera !;)

I like it, I really do. Just a TAD too much foreground (bottom right especially) for my taste.

I see what you mean Chris, but I really like the shiny road surface.

Not too keen myself. But that does not mean that it is not good. :)

Awwww! 'Cmon Kev.......

French artists were the originators of the Impressionist movement.......I made a great study of them in the past, for a long time, I painted in the style of Seurat and Pissarro, their Pointiallist brushwork and colour theory ...... they still influence my work in both painting and photography.

I'm pleased that have commented......all feedback is valued by me.

Mummy.... why is that funny man taking pictures of the bus window?

Come on, Dinsdale, this is our stop.

But, mummy......

Shut up, Dinsdale, it'll do us good to walk the rest of the way.

Thank you for taking my comment in the way it was intended. :) At the end of the day, we are all different which is a good thing! I have never liked French Impressionist painting, which probably says something about what I like / dislike in photography. Again, if I dislike something, it certainly does not mean that I am right, and I will never knowingly be disrespectful. In the same vein, I don't get upset if someone dislikes what I do with the camera. :)

I like this to Fuji - a good eye.

Reminds me of a photo of mine that I sold twice for $200 each to America years ago taken in 2008 ("The Deliberately Out Of Focus Community Bus in a Downpour!").
