The Museum of the Moon

Recommended Posts

Reviews have reported it as an amazing spectacle Colin ...What is it made of ?  I can't see   any means of suspension .... I imagine it must feel a little disconcerting walking underneath it  .. a bit like the  glass floor on the Blackpool tower where ones mind gets confused with what one's eyes tell you is  or is not  safe !  Great set Colin ... # 1  gives  great perspective about it's  enormity ....and # 2 does the same with the circular  stained glass window in the background .....and you did well to get the whole of the moon in # 3 which makes the whole image  quite surreal . Thanks for posting these Colin .👍

Hi Polly - 7 metres in diameter,  features 120dpi detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface. At an approximate scale of 1:500,000, each centimetre of the internally lit.

Its hung in the naive using some cables which are quite thin so I don't think it weighs too much, you can just see them in picture 3 .
