found this after work tonight at a national wildlife reserve.  restaurants and bars are closed so i had the whole place pretty much to myself.  just me and the birds.

That's a fabulous looking bird loki... I love the colour  of the plumage and  the way he/she's looking right at ya !

thanks clicker.  they're a beautiful dark blue color that i haven't seen on anything else.

thanks ryewolf.  our woodpeckers have bright red heads and no big plumage so they're pretty different for me.  it's fun to see how things change across the world.

thanks johntwo.  i got really lucky that it was windy so all of the birds were on branches instead of flying away.

thanks denis.  it certainly helped to not have to elbow 5 people blocking the view to take selfies.
