Walked the girls at 'our beach' yesterday. There is quite a big area of open flat surrounds for the water now, and, because we are still lacking in rain this blew up:

Was not very dense and settled very quickly, but just goes to show how dry the ground is.

I had a trip out to Blackpool with my Mum and sister, whilst they went to watch an ice-skating show at the Pleasure Beach I had a walk along the promenade....

The windswept sea...

This one car park seemed to have a new trend for gull car ornaments - as almost every car had at least one or more of these big gulls sitting on them... Also who knew that gulls have toenails!!!!!!!!!!

A giant mirrorball....

And you can't really go to Blackpool without photographing The Tower.........

That first sunset shot is a beauty Rye!

Our 'seed eating friend' is back, not that impressed with the rock I had to temporarily put on the table as the strong wind we had the other day has made it wobbly, but he can still reach!:

As usual taken through the back door window so not perfect. He disappeared after a few minutes and about 10 minutes later, as I was sat in the lounge I saw some movement just out of the lounge window - it was him! He had worked his way round the house, nibbling fresh grass, then down a path and ended up just 4 feet from the lounge window. I didn't have a camera within reach, so couldn't even get a record shot, but I'll watch out for him tonight.
