Kingfishers from Rye Mead

Got out yesterday for Kingfishers , as my luck was in ,thank goodness,, took these at Rye Mead RSPB ,hope to get back again soon for some action shots ,

Oh my Roger ... I'm quite  green with envy ...# 2  is just fabulous with his beady eye giving you, what looks like a sideways glance. Congratulations ... And good luck with your project to capture him in flight...

Roger, Rye Meads is barely two miles from my house!

We go to see the Kingfishers most years but I'm not wandering around there with my dinky little 300mm while all of those twitchers are waving three foot long lenses around

Great catches Roger - the colour contrast of #2 is lovely, but the open beak in #1 is great!
