Weekly Challenge #187 ~ NICKNAMES ~ Voting Closed

For this weeks challenge I would like you come up with a picture that is related to the nickname used by one of the many British football teams.

The encyclopedic website should help you if you need the list of teams and their nicknames, you have well over 100 to choose from. There are plenty of obvious ones like the birdy ones but there are also plenty to challenge you if you should so desire.

Usual rules apply pictures can be new or archive images and entry submission closes at midnight 8th February.

And the same here, I know the names of many of the clubs, but had no idea on their nicknames.....

I know nothing about football, ruby or cricket, they were sports I was rubbish at at school, so I ended up doing cross country running - I wasn't good at that either. I hated sports at school, all the girls did badminton or netball inside, while I remember running around outside in mid winter in the snow in flipping shorts and t-shirt and pumps......

Rye it was an entertainment event, held here in Wedderburn, very close to Melbourne Cup Day, which is known as The Race That Stops the Nation, and lots of groups and individuals entered into a 'representation race' but they had to wear. or carry something that sort of made them look like a competing racehorse!
