  1. Another one of your gems, Polly. So, how was it done? - Do tell.
  2. I really do like your monochrome rendition, Rywolf. So much drama, especially #'s 2 and 3.
  3. Not only amazing photos, but story-telling as well. Stunning, simply stunning.
  4. Well now, this is a surprise! Thank you very much indeed - especially in the face of, as Cheryl said, some outstanding images. I'm well pleased - thank you again.
  5. Thank you. The final composite was three photographs and an overlay of raindrops, all done in Post processing.
  6. Playing around with photoshop and Affinity Photo.
  7. I thought I'd have a bash at emulating Clicker's flower photos. Well out of my comfort zone.

You took the words right out of my mouth, Clicker. I hate them with a vengeance. Cracking image from a very unusual set up. Nicely done, Les.
  9. I just love open woodland like this. I'm surprised you didn't get the stags with those hinds Denis, given that it's the rutting season. Love the cobweb, BTW.
  10. That's all we get here, Denis. I had to go to Bushy Park in Hampton Court to get these shots. The only reason I went was to go with my sister to try out her new 600 mm lens. Now she did get some amazing shots.
  11. I went to Bushy Park on Sunday. Very busy both with the crowds and the deer.
  12. Thank you Cheryl, I think so too - but then I'm biased....
  13. That's just the half of it. The facing wall has a large 2.5' x 2' canvas print of the backlit, sunburst horse. So my dining area is beginning to look like a gallery.
  14. Transferred to canvas, unframed.
  15. Thank you Polly. You have got it in one. Of all the shots that I would call memorable that have recorded my journey through this fascinating hobby, this one takes the biscuit. So until the next biscuit...........
  16. Thank you all. I now have this image sitting on my wall.
  17. I went to Dudley Zoo yesterday. A difficult day for photography with indifferent light and the subjects behind fencing or glass. Anyway some shots of the day. Just how how do they communicate? Chimpanzees Spider Monkeys Otter Pleased I got that off my chest.
  18. And that is the beetling Beeny Crest in Thomas Hardy's poem about his wife Emma.
  19. # 2 does it for me too. Stunning series.
  20. I thought from the thumbnail it was a cushion.
