  1. Don't see many cats but I hear owls at night and we have Peregrine Falcons in the area which circle overhead during the day but always seem to have moved on by the time I've dashed in and grabbed a camera.
  2. You would think that they would have the decency to stop and pose. I occasionally go out in the back garden to find feathers all over the lawn but no sign of the perp.
  3. Thanks CM, thanks Gareth.
  4. Distant or not the first image is a pearler. Excellent photography.
  5. Beautiful series Roger. Just perfect.
  6. Never come across one before. Nice images.
  7. Nice set Rye, the Godwits in particular (love the last one). Isn't the Sandpiper a Redshank though.
  8. Thanks for the comments. Denis, I have only come across them on Holy Island but something at the back of my mind tells me that inverted boat hulls were also used on the Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex coastline in the same way and even as dwellings but the latter might a latent memory of Dickens' novels.
  9. Nice shots. The puffins have never been around when I have been there (Whitby is one of our favorite haunts). Must something to do with the time of year?
  10. Congrats Paul. Quality always wins out.
  11. Almost boy's toys really. Nice set Rye.
  12. Really good image Paul. Looks like the bug has been spittling all over your sensor. I use a sensor cleaning kit bought on Amazon. You can buy several kits for £50. I bought mine about 4 years ago and I still have some swabs left. I use it about once a year and it couldn't be simpler.
  13. Too near the main road Rye. It's not the noise but the air quality I suspect. I have the same problem here.
  14. I have their 9mm and it is distortion free which for an ultrawide is amazing. What a beautiful creature that is. I have never attempted to photograph moths and I am clearly missing out. Lovely set Paul.
  15. All corrections accepted if the ID is off the mark.
  16. Hells fire Paul, do you send out invitations or what. Excellent set of images.
  17. Mono for me but only because someone leaning out of the window gives it more life somehow.
  18. Nice viewpoints and just about sharp all over- especially the first one. Nice captures.
  19. My thoughts as well. One day - maybe.
  20. Some very nice quality in those shots Paul. The lighting is spot on. No intrusive specular highlights. The millipede looks quite elegant as well; not an adjective that I would normally think would be appropriate.
  21. Nice. Don't ask me to choose.
