Finally a decent day so we took a local walk up Bredon Hill, you can see the Malverns in the distance on the last photo

Took a trip to Tewkesbury today, loved the Abbey but not quite so keen on Tewkesbury itself

Anything that gets people out with their cameras is good. In our camera club they are suggesting people take on a project of some kind, giving you a sense of purpose with your photography

Sadly yes, the stuff in the city centre is much more artistic

Further to the post by Rybear and Pollys subsequent comments, this is the Birmingham Grid "In search of Urban Happiness" result from my point of view. There are maybe 40 photographers in Birmingham and the same number in Halifax doing it. We choose a particular road or path and take up to 8 images of it and then also submit a story or prose relating to the path. We all have a grid area to work within so the resulting exhibition and web site will cover a huge amount of Birmingham This is the Rea Valley Cycle Route which runs from near Birmingham city centre through eventually to Waseley Country Park over by the M5. It runs through parks, canal paths and some roads on its way

For sure, I'll post my set up sometime .... some aren't tremendously interesting though, they just tell a story

Ive just been taking part in Birmingham Grid where loads of photographers have to choose a path or road in a grid thats provided and take 8 shots of the journey along it. Much like you've done. Theres one taking place up in Yorkshire somewhere at the same time

I've never tried photo stacking, I did get the software to do it but never got going
