  1. Just a few shots from my recent visit to Chester Zoo
  2. Thank you Ryewolf, and thanks for the comments Yes, it was the old and new contrast that interested me, also the brick buildings have a lot more colour than the glass and concrete of the skyscrapers
  3. Thanks, yes I was just going through old photo files and realised I'd only processed a small proportion of my NY shots ... and yes, real people apart from the one up front obviously
  4. I like artwork graffiti, and there are areas of it in Birmingham - it's the tagging that annoys me
  5. Getting around to editing pics I took in 2019, I didn't realise there were so many from the trip I hadn't looked at
  6. Yes that tree looks tremendous
  7. Nice shot, thats Australia I assume
  8. Taken with a 70 - 200 lens to compress the landscape
  9. So much detail, wonderful shot
  10. Thanks all, that's very kind
  11. Thanks all I guess that highlights the importance of getting out at the right time of day for the right light
  12. Lovely shot Denis, well done
  13. Leamington and Warwick have some great photo opportunities, and of course are quite close together. Some of the groups around here (before lockdown2) have been organising small walks, so it's possible to do with 6 or less people ... or hopefully it will be again after lock down is over. I ran a Midland Photography Group where we sometimes has 20 - 30 people turn up for walks ... it's a nightmare keeping everyone together. The canals around are a great photo opportunity for city shots and reflections too. Not everyones cup of tea but I do spend a lot of time there
  14. Nice to put faces to names .... shame another one cant be organised at the moment
  15. Its a very simple photograph, but I can imagine that as a large framed print on the wall it would look brilliant
  16. Well done, lovely tones and a really relaxing image, if you see what I mean ?
