Castle Stalker Scotland

The view from our B&B balcony. Our host informed us that Castle Stalker was used in one of the castle scenes in Monty Python - The Holy Grail.

Thanks Ryewolf. I think the composition is not great as the foreground competes too much with the castle. Cropping didn’t see to help. Feedback welcome

The weather in Scotland and the UK can be very different from place to place, we went from Eilean Donan Castle which had perfect skies to the Old Man Of Storr which was completely shrouded in mist. The problem is when visiting for a short time you may only have the 1 day to photograph or part of the day, another day you may have had foreground mist and moody skies. I wouldn't worry about it, you could visit this spot every day for years and still not get the perfect shot.

Nice view Cheryl, and don't worry about the perfection of the picture, just keep taking them to create memories of your trip. Continue to enjoy the trip too!!

Interesting shot - I like the unusual 'landscape' format and the way you used the stream as a lead-in.

Indeed - that's where the French soldiers were!
