Visitors to my front garden....

Was just washing up in the kitchen this morning when four Ibises wandered down the nature strip, and one of them decided to come in for a visit. Not perfect because I had to take the shot through the fly wire screen on the window. We did used to see these where we lived before, but nearly always down at the dam, but there is a large park near where I am now and there are almost always Ibises there and in the surroundings.

That's a super bird to have saunter up the bath. We have nowt like that over here!

I took a lot of shots of those when We were in Oz a couple of years ago, the ones in the park in Melbourne were as tame as anything Dee .

I've seen these in zoos and they're also similar to the Sacred Ibis of Ancient Egypt
