Deserted Streets

As my local branch of Santander has temporarily closed I had to go to Blackburn today instead. The normally bustling streets were empty, even at 14:00 on a Friday afternoon, there was very little that was open, it was almost like stumbling onto an abandoned town...

Think the third shot is my fav of the set...no people and the new and old buildings.

There is going to be a lot of shots the world over of places normally packed of people that a photographer could only dream of being empty........unfortunately its a nightmare that creates the scenario.

I particularly like the third one Geoff.  That's not the Blackburn I have ever seen before.  These are all unique and worth keeping for future reference.

not here in america.  it seems to be business as usual except stores and restaurants are closed.  but i'm having fun yelling at people in public when they get too close to me.

What a great set, all the time we moan about people in shot (except as a reference guide) but now we have it and it feels strange to see.

Thanks John, the building are fairly recent the space used to be were the old bus station was.
