I've been collecting Green Men replica carvings taken from buildings  Cathedrals etc for a little while and this one is about 18 inches high and was a birthday present a couple of years ago. He has been esconced on a gable end wall at the front of the house for the past 6 months  but i still can't help feeling he's watching my every move whenever I'm in the vicinity!

That's uncanny.  The eyes look real.  Where did you find that?

I know ... they do don’t they ... the pic is straight out the camera ... just cropped and straightened a tad ... it was in a local  garden centre ..    they do look flippin’ real though !

I’m presently sitting in my kitchen waiting with a camera for a Merlin to land on a magnolia branch ...he’s been here the last three days running between 3.40   and   5.10  and the only warning I get is the garden birds suddenly disappear from all the feeders ..  looks like he isn’t gonna show today just because I have  got the camera primed and ready ... grrrr

Most of the time I use my camera gear as exercise weights, I lug the stuff miles without getting a photo !

yup, it's creepy.  i was good until the creepy eyes.

I love that and I want it on my wall.
I have already been on an internet search for one them, those eyes are amazing.

As for the picture not that there is anything wrong but it needs an edit to take away the wall, put it one of your wonderful texture images to make it more dark and eerie looking.

I have a couple of versions that i edited with a texture  Simon ...   this is above my two garages  ...looking down the drive and  not far from the  alarm  box.. .

A subliminal message  perhaps ...

I had to climb up a ladder to get that pic ... this one was taken from the ground standing  just beneath it ... looking right up his nose !
