This week's challenge is "Decorated utility". Everyday objects, decorated whether by the maker or by the user; but still in use (or at least usable).

As usual, new or old images are allowed. Entries by midnight next Friday 2nd November. Voting over the following week.

I may be stretching the 'still in use' brief beyond the limit but in 2011 I was in Seattle in NW USA. This is a defunct gasworks which those clever Americans have built a park around. The backdrop is the Seattle skyline, the iconic Space Needle being on the centre right.  I should admit that \I had a fairly mediocre camera in those days (bad workman/tools?) so please be gentle with me!2106080587_WashingtonState2011459-1.thumb.jpg.e7d90483c2c434df93a400c698df63b4.jpg

Blimey, that's a lot more entries than I expected for this week's theme, well done all!

And neither of the things I thought most likely to show up did:

Decorated cast iron work on stoves & similar

The wonderfully painted buckets and cans often seen on narrowboats
