Hello, my name is John, I live in Tillicoultry which is in Clackmannanshire central Scotland, I found the forum while searching on Facebook for photography groups.

I used to belong to a forum called the Inspirational Photography Forums which was base up here in Scotland, sadly it disappeared.

So I had to do a double take when I found this forum thinking that it was connected, any way to the chase, I sold my camera and gear around 5 years ago due to work and family commitments, so I am now in a position to have time again at weekends to get back into a hobby that I was starting to enjoy just as I was having to give it up.

I am hoping to buy my self a nice full frame camera and some decent lenses, I have been looking at the Nikon D810 and the Canon 5D Mk111 but in no hurry to commit to either one.

I am looking forward to joining in on the forum and posting images as and when I get some gear.

HI John....Have a wander around the forums and join in where you want to ... Buying a camera is not the easiest  thing with such a variety  of makes, proices  and types on the market  so you are wise to  have a measured response to  choosing what will be best for you  and the type of Photography  you enjoy doing .. It's easy to make an expensive mistake.  so welcome to this community ...  join in and have fun ....straightjackets are are not obligatory ... but some  of us, sometimes seem a bit bonkers ......

The Fuji system is excellent I have moved from canon to it and own a x-t10 and only use my canon for macro
