Colin asked for some of my past night sky work , of course I have hundreds but here is one of the horsehead nebula in Orion

I think we are going to see quite a bit of your interest here Roger, an excellent image but I have no idea of how you achieve shots like this! super stuff that I'm sure will go down really well

well 20 plus years Denis, this image was taken with an astro camera , about 20 15 min exposures, taken through my powerful telescope , , which  needs tracking and guiding on a star to stop star trailing, then all those exposures are combined and processed , this can take hours to do , ,so there ya go .

Another one of interest Denis, lower part of the Moon . this is 6,000 images combined and processed in Photoshop

The best place to put it for further ref is to go to your profile and edit it in there under Settings and then Signature.

Or you could click Edit Profile and add it there.

maybe you can tell me how I can get my ugly mug on the avatar tried it but it does not work ?????

If you go to your Profile, you should see a little icon to the bottom left of the default avatar. Click on that and upload an image. You can then adjust it to get it to fit.

yes that's it clicked upload photo then choose single file , but nothing happens should take me to my files but nothing responds

Not sure what you're doing wrong - when I click on Single File, it takes me to my desk top and I can then navigate from there to an image. file.

Ok done Judy , used Google Chrome , went right in , some how windows 10 with edge plays funny things lol ,thanks anyway

I've only used Edge by mistake - tend to use Firefox or Chrome on Windows and Firefox  or Safari. on my iMac.
