Hi from Bonnie Dundee

Recommended Posts

Been taking photographs most of my life (hitting the big 70 next month) but since retirement have taken it more seriously having bought a Nikon DSLR. I love scouring my City and the surrounding countryside for shots that will be of interest and look forward to getting involved in the site.

Welcome to the forum,
I'm a newbie too, and I have to say all the fellow forum members have made me feel right at home here.
With the wealth of knowledge and experience here this is an excellent place to learn and grow with your photography.
I hope you enjoy being a member of the forum as much as I am!

'below the line' is your signature that you change by going to the little arrow beside your name right at the top of the screen, then click on 'settings' and look for ''signature' down the left hand side.

I'm not sure if you need a certain number of posts before you can start changing it, some things you need 30 posts, others you don't

Not sure if this is right place to ask the question, but have been told that I can add a signature by going to my settings and it will be on the left hand side - but there is nothing there regarding signatures. I still can't see how I can change what is written above my photo - 'new member' -on my posts unless it is my display name - which I assumed was CannyScot.

As a new member being welcomed I would appreciate the help as I have not found what I was looking for via the help files.

Hi'ya and welcome to this friendly place, CS.

As Bugs mentioned there are limits as to what you can do until you reach a certain level of posts.

When Chris said: Do you have a handle? he was referring to your name, which you can just put at the end of any post like this -

Dee.
