I spotted the potential of this scene as the train approached it at some 70 miles an hour - a quick grab shot.............

That was very resourceful of you Fogey ...What a fabulous tree ....so suggestive of the  aggressive prevailing wind   that it faces and  I imagine it was taken through the glass too ....The sky and distant hills, especially appears  to have  a slight greeny blue ish cast to it ...was that  deliberate. 
It just goes to show ....always have the camera handy !!

Yes Clicker, the shot was taken through glass and I suspect the hue you talk of is an unintentional side-effect of the Vivesa Silver Effect Pro filter I used for the conversion.

You can just remove the colour cast if you want though can’t you  either in Photoshop or the Nik FX collection ... as I said ... it’s a fabulous tree !

I like your adjusted version Fogey - it is a lovely tree, but the lack of the greenish tinge is less distracting somehow.
