Thank you all..... last evening, we heard a sudden roaring noise....I missed circa 100 motorbikes going past... I don’t know where to or why.... I just know that I missed them.

Good spot Fooj, but two of the images irritate me extremely, We lorry drivers have to undertake 'training' so we know how to behave towards vunerable road users like cyclists. I had to sit through fourteen hours of classroom work to renew my Drivers Qualifcation Card, or as it is known the DCPC. This is a EU legal requirement to allow you to drive a heavy goods vehicle along with your HGV licence, no card, no drive.

For four hours I had to ride a cycle around Chelmsford to see how being it feels on a cycle in amongst heavy traffic. We had to 'learn' how riders are in danger from us nasty road users. and what the lorry driver can do to safeguard them.

And then we get images like this.

There are some people you just cant help. Cyclists are top of my list and I will go to the extreme of saying for every single good rider, there are another nine who should never be allowed on the road in the first place !
