Trough of Bowland

It's a place my parents used to bring us a kids and probably about 20 miles from my house, this was from a late evening drive up there on Sunday. It's fairly typical of the high moorlands you get in Lancashire and too be honest it's pretty much as I remember it 45+ years ago - except more cars...

........................................ To be honest I hadn't noticed the road markers until you pointed them out.

....and thought it was just the way you drive. :14_relaxed:

I've said it before; one of my favourite evening haunts but I have never caught it a s rich and colourful as these two shot.  Very nice.  I feel another visit  coming on.

It's a few years since my last visit to the Trough of Bowland  ....in about 2009  and it is a fabulous area .. We went walking by Dunsop Bridge in the Forest of Bowland too and had a great cuppa in a little cafe there. These are two lovely renditions Rye ..... Looks like some  very sympathetic processing  too ...really nice  pics ...
