  1. A great set Stravinsky. Number three for me.
  2. My favourite of the day.
  3. Thank you all for the comments. It was the perfect day for photography - even through midday, with the fast moving clouds covering the sun, causing those glorious shadows on the distant mountains and hills. I had a fantastic day, even if it meant driving for about nine hours.
  4. I had a day out in Snowdonia, yesterday.
  5. Wow! There's a different perspective for you. I love the low angles of the railway points - such a depth to the images.
  6. Welcome to the forum A&H, this is a nice place to be. We have some amazing photographers here - enough to keep you inspired for months to come. I look forward to seeing some of your work.
  7. A cracking set of shots - I really like the first image, boh for the misty atmosphere and the people in the foreground giving a great perspective.
  8. But then, what do you expect with such a quality camera VW.
  9. Your wildlife photography really is improving, Cheryl. A cracking shot you should be proud of.
  10. Some cracking images there. I must remember the date for next year.
  11. Excellent shot Cheryl - well done!
  12. Following on from my visit to the town centre, I took a tootle around the river and park. For a Friday lunchtime, I was amazed at how busy it was.
  13. Now there's a thought Ryewolf - Chester........ Thank you Clicker. That's the word that describes Shrewsbury, vibrant. The footfall in the shopping areas has to be seen to be believed - at times it's heaving and yet Shrewsbury is a nightmare to drive around, unless you know it intimately - hence a well supported park and ride.
  14. Great shots. I would think this little fellow was entirely dependent on us humans for his living, given the deformed feet he has.
  15. I do so like steam trains in mono - it really brings that era to life.
  16. I had a wander round Shrewsbury t'other day...
  17. Didn't I read somewhere that the bees defence to the parasitic wasp depends on the temperature at which the wasp can survive. Once the wasp attacks, the bees swarm over it, effectively suffocating it. Or am I talking a load of rubbish?
  18. Apart from the description, I haven't got a clue.
  19. He's hardly aiming that gun, with his eyes screwed shut. Just as well he was firing blanks. Great sequence of shots.
  20. Excellent shot, Lez. You should be proud of yourself.
  21. I was Clicker, but there were so many 'nearly there' shots.
