  1. I would say the experiment is working; this is an amazing image. I have been trying to work out what you did to get such an effect apart from the wacky baccy.
  2. I saw this on Google maps so went for a visit. Apart from a harrier of some sort flying in front of me while I was assembling the camera, there was very little going on. However, as I'd taken the camera with me ...... some panoramas of the fenns and mosses............ So on the way back to the car as I traversed the adjacent canal......... And just before the car park........the Morris Bridge.
  3. Amazing photography. Such detail.
  4. In answer to your question Mark, no I haven't. Looks like a hen bird with PMT. Love the reflections in the final image.
  5. So pleased you finally managed to get to Scotland, Cheryl. I love the first image in your set and agree totally with Clicker about the light from the window.
  6. Congratulations Strav, A worthy winner. Good choice Clicker.
  7. An absolutely stunning set, Ryebear. Scotland is such a brilliant venue for photography, with it's diverse scenery and weather. I really can't pick a favourite, such is the excellence of the shots. Very well done.
  8. A great set Jon. With all those fortififcations, I do wonder about the history of the place.

Now, what's not to like? A lovely scene, a frame within a frame, a great sky and a stunning composition. Well spotted and executed, Polly.
  10. Now that is an unusual angle - I like it, especially all the different angles of the rooftops.
  11. Congratulations Gareth.
  12. It's good to get out in the fresh air isn't it, Clicker. I love the serenity of this shot.
  13. I've just read up on Mason bees. What an interesting life cycle.
  14. I was there in October of last year, Polly. I went there for the autumnal colours. If I remember correctly, I had to curtail the tour and visit the restaurant because of a monumental, biblical downpour. The food was excellent. I shall be going again this summer; I'll give you a bell so we can get something arranged.
  15. Thank you. They were taken in September of last year, according to the File info, Clicker.
  16. Thank you Gareth. The conditions were ideal for photography.
  17. There are some very clever artists out there, Gareth. A lovely set. I particularly like # 3.

    Excellent shot Mark -as usual.
  19. One from the archives.
  20. Now that's a real bummer, when one man can ruin another's legacy at a stroke. My sister is potentially in the same boat and it worries the life out of me.
