  1. Now I really do like that. The photo's not bad either.
  2. A great set Gareth. I really must get out and about with my camera.
  3. Glad you have sorted tour problems out, Polly and yes, I'm easily pleased too. It is so nice to see spring colours poking through the drab browns of Winter. Love the soft lighting in this shot and the vignette just adds to the ambience.
  4. And so you should be. These are fantastic, imaginative and innovative. Very well done.
  5. Now that is amazing - especially from an I phone. I have tried this kind of photography but never really succeeded.
  6. A nice set Strav. Lord how I've missed the great outdoors.

    Loco 2890

The second one for me, by a whisker.
  8. Welcome to my world Fooj! I have been both on a mobility scooter and a powered wheelchair for about three years now. I've had my car adapted with a hoist, so I can go out and about at my leisure. I've recently bought a mobility scooter that is more designed as an all terrain, rather than a pavement scooter and it still fits in my car so I can go where I please. My old scooter is going to be given to my neighbour's lad for his birthday, for him to gad about on.
  9. Another great video. When I'm taking photos that include people and am asked why I'm taking their photo, I both promise, (and show), them if necessary, they are just figures in a landscape, used purely for scale. I refer to them as props to the scene.
  10. Keep this up Paul and you'll be getting yourself the same sort of reputation you have with macros. Well done you!

    POTW W/E 12/02/23

I thought this week's POTW was cut and dried, until I saw Ryewolf's excellent shot of the singing Robin - then things got difficult. However, after a lot of humming and ahh-ing, I decided to go with my original choice which was Stravinsky's Evesham. There was merely the thickness of a cigarette paper between them, in my mind. I chose this because I found the image relaxing. Congratulations Strav. Follow the link below for the original post :- https://www.tipf.co.uk/forums/topic/57668-evesham/#comment-246554
  12. Does open up a plethora of possibilities, doesn't it.
  13. Night photography with a difference.
  14. A very shy visitor to my garden.
  15. Congratulations, Ryewolf. Well done Cheryl for your choice.
  16. That made me laugh out loud. I did pause and re-read what I had written. I did think, would she notice but decided to go ahead anyway.
  17. I have to agree with previous posters.
  18. Another Wow! Catching these little birds in their natural habitat is not easy, especially when you get the subject so sharp. A lovely image. By the way, I just love your signature - is that a professional job or did you do it?
  19. I love the background on this - really makes the subject stand out.

    Welsh Castles

All the castles in Wales will have free admission on March 17th as it's St Patrick's Day. Just a word in your ears.

    Jubilee Tower, Darwen

Another cracking video, Paul. I'm well impressed with your music......Where do you source it from?
  22. It's got everything going for it, hasn't it, Paul? Lead in lines, low-ish viewpoint, good DOF, plenty of smoke for drama - what more could you ask. Great shot, Geoff.

    Experimental

Perhaps you can explain what you mean by experimental, Geoff.
  24. Another great video, Paul. I just loved the music.
