Walking the doggies yesterday morning in one of our usual spots and when I went back to the car a nice caterpillar had fallen from a bush on to my windscreen. He was fine, and found a drop of water which he enjoyed. I had my little TZ with me so got a couple of shots with interesting reflections too. First one I have taken for ages but will try to start again.

Where was I for the last week - visiting my sister in New Zealand to help celebrate her 80th birthday. The snow over the mountains was incredible as we flew over the west coast of the South Island. When I arrived at Christchurch I had a rental car ready and drove to Blenheim where they live. Getting near to their local area this was the classic grape growing scene that you have. On her actual birthday this was the nice collection on her 'birthday table'. We did get out a bit to Picton, which has a nice coastal scene to look at. And to another place where the views are nice at the start of the Queen Charlotte Sounds. This was the 'help yourself luncheon on her birthday, at my nephew's home and 12 other people there. Those mini pies were to die for!! And we had nice Yorkshire Puddings and shared a bowl of lovely chips on last Friday night out at a local bar/restaurant. And on the last day the three of us enjoying a nice coffee at a local cafe that has a nice outdoor seating area. It was a great week and it has taken me a couple of days to settle back into my normal routine. Kelly & Brodie were at their favourite kennels and were very pampered too, so all good. Was just restricted to mobile phone images but at least I have a record of the trip.
