  1. A great choice - Congratulations, Matt!
  2. Another great set, Paul!
  3. The long exposures work really well. I like #2 best.
  4. A great set - #3 is my favourite due to the foreground.
  5. Superb as always, Paul. What lighting did you use?
  6. Nice shots, Matt. That looks like somewhere to add to my 'to visit' list next time we're down there.
  7. It's my turn to choose the POTW again. It's been a fairly quiet week on TIPF with not that many images to choose from - which makes it easier to pick one of course! My choice for this week is this one from Paul: I really like the detail in the ice crystals and the deep red of the petals underneath. Well done, Paul! Full thread here. Gareth
  8. A good selection - I think my favourite is the fish!
  9. Once again, it falls to me to select POTW. I thought there was a clear winner this week, so without further ado, my pick for this week is the 'wet wings' part of Paul's thread 'False Widow and Wet Wings': Well done, Paul! Gareth
  10. Thanks all. I was sure I'd replied to Paul about the birds, but it seems I didn't! So - yes, Paul: it does look better with the birds removed.
  11. First frosts? It's only been a month since we got back from our summer holiday! You'll be telling me it's nearly Christmas next! Excellent photo by the way!
  12. Processed with DXO Photolab 5.
  13. I really like the raindrops on the blue head. (That's not a sentence I expected to type when I turned the computer on this morning!)
  14. #1 is great. I tried to photograph that myself a few years ago - too many people around to get a decent shot though! Isn't it something to do with Benjamin Britten?
  15. Great colours! I really like the reflection in the water in the last one.
  16. The low-key monochrome treatment suits these, Geoff. You captured the steam well.
