  1. Holding onto hope. Something a bit different for my weekly photo......I thought I’d show how I use photography in my work. I provide therapuetic support to women who have experienced domestic violence & often use a set of visual cards to help women express how they are feeling or what they are hoping for. I photograph the cards to refer to in future conversations and send the woman a copy. These four cards were chosen by one woman to express her hopes for her future with her children when/if she is reunited with them.
  2. Thanks Ryewolf and everyone. I have just realised this pic won POTW.A welcome surprise!
  3. Sorry only an iPhone photo as I’ve been on the road without computer access this week. Beginnings?
  4. Your gorgeous clouds were my choice, Denis. Well done.
  5. Yesterday was extreme in Bendigo with 43 degree and probably hotter where you are, Dierdre. So lovely to wake up this morning to cool air flowing in the window after the cool change.
  6. I took this photo for last week's challenge then couldn't upload it due to internet problems so I'm recklessly bending the rules of the challenge and uploading this week. A small bee with very large sunflower.
  7. Photo opportunity Flinders St station.
  8. I was missing this week due to work and Xmas madness.
  9. After some hot days and nights, a thunder storm with torrential rain! Loved watching it .......with the gnomes.
  10. Anothe iPhone pic as I’m away from my pc and photoshop. Red onions just harvested.
  11. I’m in Surfers Paradise for a work conference. I wasn’t looking forward to it because it was a bit like Korky’s Cypriot village. Seedy and past it’s prime. But it had a makeover for the Commonwealth Games and there’s less rubbish, the cracks in the pavements have been fixed and it now has trams. I took my new IPhone 7 for a walk and found some lovely spots between the high rise hotels.
  12. I missed this win hence my lack of response. First time I’ve won POTW. Thank you, Polly, for messaging me to let me know. Cheers
  13. We call these little birds, Red-Browed Firetails. This is the first photo I've taken of them so they get to go up on the TIPF site.
  14. Pretty clear winner, well done, Colin. An excellent study of orange & blue with strong design. Thank you to whoever closed the voting.
  15. I've been photo graphing thistle flowers and this is another version from the one I posted under macro. PS. I had some trouble uploading my photo last night on my laptop when I was away from home hence the error post above.
