  1. Another great 'through the window' shot Polly, timid due to it knowing you were not a threat as you were inside. Maybe they are much more used to people since lockdowns began?
  2. It has a good effect Cheryl, I have not ever taken any high key photos ( intentionally !) so the process must be much different to achieve this. Is this commercially grown cotton or a wild version?

  6. Brilliant shots and I really like no 4 and 5 !
  7. A brilliant photo Gareth, well done
  8. ..and what a view. You have certainly captured the right shades of the time of year.
  9. Very scenic shot of a great part of the country
  10. A terrific view Jon !
  11. Unbelievable !and great photos Paul
  12. Ha! Tell that to a few cousins of mine in Norfolk & Suffolk Geoff and they will look at you wondering where you have been all your life! To say they take it seriously is an understatement. I had a 16 year old female cousin ( Coralee ) who back in 1997 had never been to a disco, walked 5 miles to school and back every day since she was 12, and the highlight of her social calendar was the annual ploughing match !
  13. I have only dabbled a little in astro Les, mostly to do with the milky Way on my D7500 using a 11-16mm Tokina wide angle lens. I have a 200-500mm telephoto lens but cant seem to do a lot with that apart from the moon. but I know JohnP gets good results from his superzoom bridge camera. Great photos by the way, this stuff interests me
  14. Yes, but not sure what type, probable stainless steel , kind of two tone , this from the other side...
  15. It is about 12 foot tall. There were people about, but waited until two were behind the Sculpture before taking the shot. A minute later and there were ten people around it for ages! got to pick yer moment eh?
  16. Great views Paul, many around here are stomping on them as they look similar or take them for False Widows
  17. We visited the suffolk coast for a few days last week, Had a weekend in Norfolk and a couple of days around Southwold, Thorpeness and Aldeburgh itself. Love this, the incription says 'I hear those voices that will not be drowned'
