  1. Superb studies that deserve all the recognition they can muster by our bug master
  2. And what a set to capture! The detail is really great, what a lens eh?
  3. A spot we found in our little camper van a couple of weeks ago, we parked for the night in a carpark by the quarry and sat watching the sunset over Chesil beach. In the morning we walked around the now nature reclaimed quarry and was pleasantly surprised to find loads of Sculptures created in the quarry by artists since 2003. It makes a very unusual open air sculture park and is visited by many. Just a few I took to give you an idea...
  4. What a super image and as polly said presented really well .....I wish we had hills around here for me too use a backdrop
  5. Whats a frog? honestly . been years since I have seen one ! good captures James
  6. Another great set Geoff
  7. Gorgeous looking flowers John with great detail
  8. The garden that just keeps giving eh? another fantastic set Paul
  9. I'm wondering if these are what we call locally as Rapeseed beetles, irritating little beeetles that live and feed in Oilseed Rape fields. If you wear a bright green or and red or orange safety clothing you nearly get driven bonkers by the damn things in the summer ! They didnt call me the 'man in black' for no reason!
  10. I for one would much rather sail on the four masted Barque (if that is what this is) rather than the 12 storey or more cruise liner. Nothing against a cruise liner as we did enjoy the one and only one we did sail on so far. But the sound of sails and rigging when you are sailing adds to the joy of being afloat, so the real sailing ship for me!
  11. A great set Geoff you certainly have caught them well and no 2 has spotted you too !
  12. Cruise ships (and other vessels) in Weymouth Bay,Dorset.
  13. A brilliant photograph that deserves the merit ! welcome back John and well done.

Another great loco shot from yourself again Geoff
  15. That very first mono shot says it all Geoff
  16. Lots around at the moment James!
  17. I would sell the house tomorrow and live on one. We got as far as looking at one for sale for £27,000 and while we both loved it, reality set in and realised that for our age we should have done it years ago and grown into it. It would be too much now with my hips and knees playing up as they have the last year

What a Beauty Paul ! Fantastic pic
  19. Most , if not all the boat dwellers I have got to know over the years have cars. You have to move locations every two weeks, but the is always somewhere nearby to park your car, most have a bike to ride along the towpath to pick their cars up and move them.
  20. 2 and 3 are terrific Paul!
  21. My version, tickled in Lightroom and a small tweak with Topaz.
