Lots of lines and shadows here.  I was lucky to find it empty!

You certainly were lucky !  I suppose it was probably pretty hot in there though  so maybe people didn't linger for long .... Great lines and shadows and  a floor that adds to the  linear and geometric feel to this ... Looks like the right time and right place applies to this particular capture Hatter.  Nicely taken advantage of too ...

Yeah I prefer the colour version too... The little patch of green through the far door that takes the  eye through the  image  and even the green planters  leading to it,  all  add  to the interest and dynamics of the pic for me .... even the  little patch of blue sky emphasises the probable warmth generated in the orangery.... and the tiled floor becomes a much more noticeable characteristic  in the colour version ...   imho ...

I have to say I like both, the colored because of what Polly mentioned, the B&W for the way it brings out the lines and shapes.
