A shady spot

I have  grown a lot of ferns these past two years ...they always feel quite Jurassic   but the ghostly  forms in the background are a couple of horses  and not dinosaurs ...The Ferns  are well suited to the shady  parts of the garden ...they also seem very calming  for some reason ...

Beautiful image and garden, Polly. I too like ferns, I have been to North Western Washington (state) where the ferns grow to 2 meters high.

Thanks Mark ...I think the  pandemic made me realise just how important my garden really was to both me and my other half ... It really was a sanctuary and although I have always been an avid gardener I   hadn't really appreciated just how therapeutic  all the activities that are  encompassed in that hobby, contribute to one's well being . During all those months of lockdown  when even shopping was deemed a stressful risk for  those with compromised immune systems , the garden was a safe haven .  

How is the weather over there in Oklahoma?

Actually no ... this one was taken with my Fuji 35mm f/1.4 R... a really nice little prime that  is very versatile....
