It was a great place to capture images of pilots in jets practicing their skills and manoeuvres as you said …. There aren’t many places where you can get a view of an aircraft like this… thanks for posting these well  crafted captures Monkey… good to see you back too !

Nice set, liking the Tonka, I don't think I've ever seen one in that colour before 👍

Thank you Colin, That Tornado was known as Pinkie it was painted in the Desert Storm colours sometime around 2016 and that was its second to last flight

Thanks Clicker. there are quite a few places to view them low level there are 6 popular spots on the Mach Loop and 2 or 3 more on A5 at Ogwen valley then there is the Lake District with at 5 spots not including the towns and Scotland has quite a few. The Kyle of Lochalsh around Eileen Donan castle and the Skye bridge. Anywhere along the great glen where they travel southwest to Spleen then sharp left to Kingussie and over Insh Marshes rspb site onto either Aviemore or Loch Morlich, We dont see the Tornado now as that was retired before Covid hit and RAF frontliners dont use the Loop (long story) now but are seen daily elsewhere
