Awesome vistas Fogey .. 1st one for me  if I had to only pick one  ... a soft warm autumnal  quilt covering the hills with a sky to die for ....Wales never fails  to impress  does it ..?

North Wales, in Snowdonia mountain range.

No it doesn't Polly.  What I love about this place you can look at a scene and see the mood change as the clouds pass over.  Lighting is always a challenge as it changes so quickly.

The building in the last one ( a scene I recognise  )  just completely  exposes the  perspective  and the drama of the size of the rocky terrain Fogey ...  I  first  climbed Mount Snowdon when I was twelve and at Boarding School in North Wales  in  1960 !!

Bet you'd have a job to walk Snowden nowadays     - maybe the train and the last bit on foot?

Strangely enough I'm better walking uphill ...it's coming down  that plays havoc with my knees !
