I saw a Skink.....

Recommended Posts

Have not see any sort of lizard on my new property since I moved here, and I do miss seeing them. Went outside to sit in the garden with K&B and spotted something near my door bell. Had phone in hand so went closer and saw it was a Skink, sort of hidden behind my door bell. I touched it's tail and it moved forward a bit, so got another shot. Touched the tail again and it moved up under the eaves. A few minutes later it was back down and I had just topped up K&B's water pot so I had an ice cream container. I placed it in front of the Skink and it moved forward into the container and lapped up several drops of water as I moved it to a safe and shady spot in a garden bed. Not full shots, but it was nice to see.

Well spotted Dee.... that is TINY  isn't it ?  It seems we always have our phones handy nowadays so we rarely   find ourselves caught short completely now ... and there are some pretty decent images to be had with the latest smart phones ...as  you have demonstrated here ... 🙂
