My favourite  flower ...I  have  one outside my  laundry room door into the garden... It  really is challenging exposing for  a flower like this ... I  remember  processing one last year in mono with a texture overlay so I appreciate   this image  too ..The tonal values are terrific.. nice work Missus  !

Thank you for your generous feedback, Fogey. It is very challenging to take good photos of white flowers like these, surprisingly: especially getting the composition and lighting right . I focus stacked these ones.

There are times, Cheryl, when focus stacking is the way to go.  One of my favourite methods.

My Nikon 850 has a focus stacking program that I used with these. I manually focus it on the closest part of the flower, select how many photos to take and the increments and, of course, set the ISO, aperture and speed.  I use PhotoShop to stack them. Of course, there are still decisions to be made 😬and plenty of room for error. I shoot in RAW so it takes a while to stack them - time to make a cuppa.
with this image I shot 20 images and still found the focus a bit soft at the front.
