Went for another cruisy investigative drive this morning and found another place that will be nice to visit. Blue Rock Lake where there is boating, picnic areas and lovely views. Didn't explore the whole place but think I can go back there and see more views like this:

Looking on the maps and it seems there are several areas where you can get to the waters edge, this picnic spot was the closest to the boat ramp area and very nice, so I can go back and find more.

I often go for a drive to spot new locations. Living in Cornwall there are so many beaches and coves that you would miss if you stuck to the main roads.  Some of my favourite shots are the result of getting lost.  Drives the family mad of course when we pop to the shops for milk and end up lost on the opposite coast trying to work out where we are!  😉

I imagine the dogs will love that  Dee ... good to see you  getting about and  discovering  new places.... Lot's of place to sit in the shade too  with a cold drink and packed lunch ...  and  new places to photograph !

The only restriction is that dogs have to be on a leash at all times in this area, and it would be the busiest area because of the boat ramps, that's why I will investigate some of the other spots Polly!
