Nifty Fifty 1st shot

Recommended Posts

Nice bokeh, very shallow depth of field. It looks like it will be good for creative shots.

I am hoping to get a wide angle fast lens soon, something along the 16mm lines...looking at the Samyang and it looks a decent one for the price.

Leon - you should set yourself a challenge.

Crank the lens to f/1.8 and leave on there for a whole days shoot. No matter where you focus, you will find the narrow depth of field will give you unique results.

Are they really hard to use Leon...I am getting one in the new year...should I forget it?

NO! NO! NO! They are a lovely lens to use.

When I first got mine I seldom used it, then I put it on the camera and never used anything else for the best part of ten days, you have to work a little harder but I found it a lot easier to master than the Macro :)
