this was taken sometime in the last week.  i have no idea when cause i don't even know what day it is anymore.  taken at a local refuge.

Beautifully lit Loki... looks like it’s posing for you ...a very nice study of a rather elegant creature ...

 Are you in lockdown where you are  or is it social distancing... I can’t  keep up  either ... without one’s normal routines ... you really do lose track of what day of the week it is .... still ...small price to pay to try and stop the spread ...

thanks.  i got really lucky with the golden light hitting the heron on the head.

we're in a soft lockdown for the third week and we expect this to go on at least til june.  everyone has been advised to shelter in place, but it's not mandatory yet.  anyone from out of state is placed in a mandatory 14 day quarantine upon arrival.  police will break up any groups that are more than 10 people and can pull over anyone from out of state.   non-essential businesses are closed and some essential businesses (restaurants and such) decided to close as well.  businesses open to the public can't have more than 20% capacity inside at one time.  i work for the state in emergency management so unless i test positive i'll be at work.

That's just a beautiful study loki.   The comp, the light and the overall tonality take it from a pure record to being art.  Love it.

Loki's profile shows that home is the USA.... Not sure where exactly but the Central Plains  were once mentioned .. For some reason I thought it was Philadelphia...not sure why really  ..
