Walking on the Malvern Hills.

I finally got a slot in the weather and I went for a walk on the Malvern Hills today, I've been hoping to do it for several days. I don't very often shoot RAW as I'm not keen on the extra processing, however I am extremely pleased with results I got with this shot. Having said that I'm disappointed with this resized for the web version... I'm sure you all know what I mean.

Lovely shot - I've seen that weather from the summit of the Malverns (in fact I remember one afternoon when there was different weather in each of 4 directions - from bright sunshine, dramatic clouds, misty low visibility, and sheeting rain. How I wish I'd had a camera with me!)

If I had to make one tiny change to your shot, I'd have lifted the camera a little bit so there was less green/brown foreground, and more sky - but then I'm definitely a sky man, and that sky looks a beaut :yes ).

Great piece of scenery, very envious of the location, flat and feature-less where I am!

So much detail has been lost in this reduced for the web version, when I look at the full size image I can even see Pen Y Fan which is the highest peak of the Brecon Beacons in South Wales. It's only 600 feet lower than Snowdon.
